This release, produced by Arthur Cormack and Mary Ann Kennedy, is a collection of BBC archive recordings over thirty years, combined with newly-recorded material for the album at Cava Studios in Glasgow. Also on the album are Kenna’s younger daughter Wilma, and Bannal – a group of Glasgow-based women who specialise in the performance of waulking songs.
